Sustained countertenor drones in the Byzantine register, layered live and held for long durations. Music for listening with the eyes closed, released as recordings and performed online.
Practice
The Drone Oracle grows out of the same instrument as Arturo Gui, without the image. The voice is the whole material: long tones, overtones, slow harmonic movement, silence. Sessions are recorded and released, and can be commissioned as online listening sessions for groups, companies and institutions.
